KGF on OTT with Pay-Per-View model

Kannada star Yash starrer ‘KGF 2’ is still running in some theatres. To mint more from this winning horse ,the makers have come up with an idea.

They are planning to release KGF 2 on OTT through a Pay-Per-View model. It will stream on Amazon Prime.

One can rent the film for Rs 199 and thereafter watch it any number of times. Earlier Bollywood actor Salman Khan had released his film on the OTT with this model. But KGF 2 has almost finished its run in theatres.

We will have to wait and see how successful this new strategy be. If this one hits the bullseye then surely the rental model of movies on OTT might be the new trend.
