Kiara Advani has recently stepped into motherhood, with her daughter still only a few months old. Yet, the actress is already preparing for a strong return to films and hopes to open a successful new chapter in her career.
In a recent YouTube podcast with Raj Shamani, Kiara spoke candidly about her early struggles in the film industry and clarified a common misconception about her debut.
Many believe that “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” or “Kabir Singh” marked her entry into films, but Kiara revealed that her actual debut was the 2014 film “Fugly.”
Reflecting on that phase, Kiara said the film’s failure created a long gap in her career and forced her to restart the struggle from scratch. She shared that she went through multiple auditions, faced constant rejections, and had to prove herself repeatedly before finding success.
“The hardships I faced became my greatest teachers,” Kiara said, adding that every actress goes through such difficult phases at some point in her journey.
Her next release will be “Toxic” starring Yash.
