After the success of “Baby,” writer-director Sai Rajesh and producer SKN are back with another romantic drama. Titled “Chennai Love Story,” the new film offers a fresh perspective on the idea of first love, even challenging the message of Baby, which concluded by stating that “first love is the purest and is etched deep in the heart.”
The makers recently released a teaser to announce the project.
The video features lead actors Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya sitting together on a beach. When Sri Gouri Priya praises the line from “Baby,” Kiran counters with a witty remark: “If first love is the purest, then everyone’s love should have stopped with their mother, since that’s the first love we all experience.” He further adds that failing in one relationship simply means a better person is yet to come.
“First love Topemi Kaadu,” he declares. The teaser’s playful dialogue and message have piqued interest.
Kiran Abbavaram appears soft-spoken and relatable, while Sri Gouri Priya looks radiant. She is best known for her role in “MAD.”
“Chennai Love Story” is being directed by newcomer Ravi Namburi, with story and dialogues by Sai Rajesh. The music is composed by veteran Mani Sharma.
