‘Kishkindhapuri’ reschedules release by a day

To avoid a direct clash with Teja Sajja’s “Mirai,” the makers of “Kishkindhapuri” have postponed their release by one day. The film will now hit theaters on September 13, a date often associated with horror and mystery.
While Mirai arrives on September 12, Kishkindhapuri will follow a day later. Announcing the change on social media, the team wrote: “In horror culture, 13 is never just a number… it signifies mystery, danger, and unknown fear. That is why #Kishkindhapuri chooses it as the day of its arrival.”
Starring Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and Anupama Parameswaran, “Kishkindhapuri” is directed by newcomer Koushik Pegallapati and produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner.
Chaitan Bharadwaj is providing the music.
