‘Korean Kanakaraju’ lands strong theatrical and Non-theatrical deals

Varun Tej’s upcoming film “Korean Kanakaraju” has reportedly recorded impressive non-theatrical business, putting the makers in a comfortable position even before its theatrical release.
According to trade buzz, the film, mounted on a budget of around Rs 38 crore, has already recovered nearly Rs 26 crore through the sale of OTT, satellite, music and Hindi dubbing rights.
The theatrical business is said to be in the Rs 12 to 15 crore range. If these estimates hold true, the film will recover its entire investment through pre-release business alone, ensuring a table profit for the producers ahead of its release.
Directed as a commercial entertainer, “Korean Kanakaraju” has generated decent buzz with its promotional content, and the strong non-theatrical deals reflect the confidence of buyers.
The film features Ritika Nayak as the heroine. Produced by UV Creations in association with First Frame Entertainment, the film is directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and has music by Thaman. Satya plays the lead comedian role.
