Vijay Deverakonda is all set to wrap the shooting of ‘Liger’, two years after its launch. Being directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film’s last shooting schedule has commenced today in Mumbai. Vijay Deverakonda and other prominent cast are participating in the shoot.
After wrapping this movie’s shooting, director Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda will team up once again for a patriotic drama.
‘Liger’ is a sports drama. Vijay turned into beast mode to play a boxer. The biggest highlight of the film is boxing Legend Mike Tyson playing a major role in the movie. Mike Tyson has never appeared in Indian cinema before. He has agreed to do this film as the story impressed him.
Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta together are bankrolling the film. Ananya Panday is the heroine. Ramya Krishna plays Vijay Deverakonda’s mother.
The film is scheduled for release in theatres worldwide on 25th August 2022.
