Udayanidhi Stalin – Won
Hero Udayanidhi Stalin, whose father MK Stalin is set to become the new chief minister of Tamilnadu, won from Chepauk Thiruvallikeni Assembly constituency. The young actor will be playing a key role in Tamilnadu politics.
Suresh Gopi – Lost
The Malayalam actor is known to Telugu audiences as well. He contested as the BJP candidate from the Thrissur constituency in Kerala and lost. He was defeated by the left party’s candidate.
Khusbu Sundar – Lost
Khushbu Sundar, who joined the BJP in 2020, also lost in the Tamilnadu elections. She contested from the Thousand Lights Assembly constituency in Chennai. She was earlier in the congress party. Switching to BJP at the last minute didn’t help her anyway.
