Maa Inti Bangaram Trailer: Samantha turns action heroine in family drama

Samantha is back. After nearly three years away from Telugu cinema as a lead actress, she is making her comeback with “Maa Inti Bangaram”, directed by Nandini Reddy. The film’s trailer was unveiled today, offering a glimpse into a story that blends family emotions with high-octane action.

The trailer opens with Samantha entering her maternal home as a newly married woman. Surrounded by relatives and women questioning her about traditions and the expectations placed on a daughter-in-law, her character makes a striking statement. She declares that while she may not possess all the conventional qualities expected of a daughter-in-law, she has one unwavering trait: she will do anything to protect her family.

As the trailer progresses, a completely different side of her character emerges. It is revealed that she carries a violent past and possesses a fierce, action-packed alter ego. Draped in traditional sarees, Samantha performs intense action sequences with the swagger and confidence usually reserved for male superstars.

While Samantha has showcased her action skills in web series before, “Maa Inti Bangaram” marks her first female-centric action film on the big screen. The actress is also producing the project under her banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, while the music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.

The trailer promises an engaging mix of family drama, emotions, and action, presenting a familiar family story with an unexpected twist. Scheduled for release on June 19, 2026, the makers appear highly confident about the film, unveiling the trailer nearly a month ahead of its theatrical release.
