Sivakarthikeyan’s action-packed entertainer “Madharaasi”, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies, is set to release on September 5. Ahead of the release, the actor shared key highlights.
Working with Murugadoss for the first time, Sivakarthikeyan said the director’s clarity and cool approach gave him a very positive experience and a solid film. He promised high-voltage action, strong emotions, and a grand canvas. “The action blocks will mesmerize audiences and bring madness to the big screen,” he said.
He called actress Rukmini Vasanth’s role crucial, adding depth and emotion to the story.
On music, Sivakarthikeyan credited Anirudh Ravichander for delivering powerful tracks and a special re-recording. Speaking about negative characters in the film, he highlighted Vidyut Jammwal’s “crazy” action sequences and Biju Menon’s impactful performance. He also appreciated producer Tirupati Prasad’s passion and uncompromising scale.
Further, Sivakarthikeyan said both Telugu and Tamil viewers value good cinema above all. “They’ve supported my films across languages, and I believe Madharaasi will receive the same love,” he added.
