The casting process for SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s highly anticipated film, #SSMB29, is still underway. As the shoot progresses, more actors are expected to join the ensemble.
The latest buzz is that Madhavan has come on board the mega project.
Known for films like “Sakhi,” R Madhavan has recently gained pan-Indian popularity with Hindi films carrying a strong nationalistic theme. He has also been part of several critically acclaimed movies in recent years.
While acting in Telugu films isn’t new for him, this marks his first collaboration with director SS Rajamouli. Madhavan previously played a negative role in Anushka Shetty’s “Nishabdam”.

The untitled, globetrotting adventure thriller, currently referred to as #SSMB29, features Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Priyanka Chopra in key roles. MM Keeravani is composing the music.
