Mahakali: Bhoomi Shetty plays the fierce titular role

RKD Studios and Prasanth Varma are coming together for an ambitious new film titled “Mahakali.” Prasanth Varma of “HanuMan” fame lends his creative inputs while “Mahakali” is being directed by Puja Kolluru.

The makers unveiled the first look of the titular character, played by Bhoomi Shetty, today.

Bhoomi, who was last seen in Vijay Deverakonda’s “Kingdom,” embodies the powerful goddess with striking intensity. Clad in fiery shades of red and gold, she radiates raw energy that captures the spirit of Mahakali. With traditional ornaments, sacred markings, and a piercing gaze, her look perfectly represents the duality of destruction and rebirth.

More than half of the film’s shoot has been completed, with the current schedule taking place on an elaborate set built in Hyderabad.
