Adivi Sesh’s ‘Major’ has finished its theatrical run. The film was praised from all quarters. It made big money in the Telugu states. The makers and the lead actors promoted this film in such a way that they could get the maximum out of ‘Major’.
On the flipside, ‘Major’ failed to connect with the Malayali audience. Also, the Hindi version of the film did average business.
What came as a surprise was that it did ordinary business in the US. It seemed to collect more than $ 1.5 million given the universal good ratings. But it ended its run with $1,141,818 ($1.1 million).
Major is based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Sashi Kiran Tikka directed this film which had a script by Adivi Sesh. Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Revathi, Murali Sharma, and Anish Kuruvilla are also a part of this film.
