Allu Arjun and his team had announced the Pan India release for ‘Pushpa’ long back without realizing that the producers had already given the Hindi dubbing rights to their regular distributor. Now, the film’s theatrical release has become an issue.

Generally, all our Telugu big movies are snapped by regular Hindi distributors, who dub them in Hindi and release it mostly on satellite channels and YouTube. The money from these dubbing rights is fetching crores of rupees (ranging from Rs 10 crore to Rs 25 crore) to the producers. It has become a big revenue for the Telugu producers. Mythri Movie Makers has also closed the deal for ‘Pushpa’ at the very beginning of the movie launch.

But Allu Arjun has other plans. He wants the film to be released in theaters in five languages nationwide in a big way like ‘KGF’ and ‘Baahubali’. But the person who bought the Hindi dubbing rights has not agreed to such a release. So, Allu Arjun is now fixing the problem. The makers will announce the Hindi theatrical release plans in a day or two.

Now, Allu Arjun’s Geetha Arts will plan the Hindi release with their regular contacts.

‘Pushpa’ is in the final leg of shooting. Sukumar is directing the film.
