On its first weekend, “PS – 2” earned approximately $3.5 million (Rs 28 crore). The film also received favorable reviews.
“PS 1” grossed $6.7 million during its entire run. It remains to be seen whether the second part will approach that figure.
This two-part epic drama based on Kalki’s books was directed by Mani Ratnam. Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Jayaram played the lead roles in the film.
