The news that veteran actor Mohan Babu attacked his younger son Manchu Manoj went viral on Sunday morning. Telugu news channels reported that actor Manchu Manoj has lodged a complaint against his father for assault and injury in Pahadi Shareef police station in Hyderabad.
The reports said Manoj approached the police with facial and physical injuries, claiming that his father violently struck him during an argument.
Soon after news channels reported the police complaint, the veteran actor’s family issued a statement denying the incident.
“The news reports that Mohan Babu and Manchu Manoj have filed complaints against each other are false. Certain media outlets are telecasting false reports that Manchu Manoj, wounded, visited the police station to file a complaint.” Manchu Mohan Babu’s family issued a statement through his PR.
