Allu Arjun has cemented his position as one of India’s biggest pan-Indian superstars following the massive success of “Pushpa 2”. His rising popularity, especially in North India, has placed him on par with top-tier stars like Shah Rukh Khan. Currently, he is working on a high-budget, pan-Indian film directed by Atlee, which is expected to hit theaters in about two years.
However, the shoot is expected to be wrapped up well before that, prompting several filmmakers to line up new projects for the actor.
Recently, there were reports that Allu Arjun may star in a superhero film titled “Shaktimaan,” directed by Malayalam filmmaker Basil Joseph and backed by Sony Pictures. Meanwhile, there’s fresh buzz that producer Dil Raju is planning to bring together Allu Arjun and director Prashanth Neel for a potential collaboration.
After Allu Arjun’s fallout with director Trivikram and the mythological project they had planned being shelved or passed on, many producers have approached the actor with new scripts. However, it remains to be seen which of these projects will actually move forward and get a green light.
