Many managers sought “commitment” from me: Tejaswi

Actress Tejaswi Madivada said the culture of seeking sexual favors from girls in return for giving work is prevalent in every field. “That it happens only in the film industry is a wrong notion. I know from my friends who work in MNCs that they have faced similar situations. The thing is that the phrase “casting couch” became so popular that people assume it happens only in the film industry, “she said in the latest interview.

Tejaswi Madivada admits that though she is bold and outspoken, she has her vulnerabilities. “In the beginning, I used to receive calls from managers asking for commitment (sexual favors),” she revealed.

She said she went through financial problems. She chose this path of being bold and sharing the sexiest pictures on social media for a particular reason.

“Every person has their way of living, creating their path in life. When I didn’t have money for treatment for my illness, it was Samantha who helped back then (a decade ago). I have faced such financial issues. If I tell all these incidents, people think that I am expecting sympathy from them. So, I don’t have any regrets for whatever image that I have got with my Instagram pictures,” she added.
