Varun Tej stars in the film “Matka”. The first peek video was released today to coincide with his birthday. The first look video was titled “Opening Bracket” and is intended to show the premise of Matka.
“Matka” is directed by Karuna Kumar and produced by Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala of Vyra Entertainments and Rajani Talluri of SRT Entertainments. The film’s shooting is underway.
Varun Tej appears in the video as the leader of the gambling mafia. Although Varun Tej is not fully visible in the video, he seems to have gone transformation to portray this role.
The movie is set in the 1980s. The heroines are Norah Fatehi and Meenakshi Chaudhary.
