Varun Tej will be enthralling us as a gambler, showing his range of acting and his ability to sink in with the character by undergoing transformation at different stages of the journey. The trailer for “Matka,” which came out today, displays that he has put in a lot of effort to play Vasu, the king of Matka.
“Matka” will arrive in theaters on November 14th.
The movie, directed by Karuna Kumar and produced by Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Thalluri, has generated a lot of buzz with its promotional material so far. The trailer is also interesting.
The story is simple: an ordinary man taking an unlawful path to become rich and indulging in Matka (a gambling game). This period drama, set in the 1970s and 80s in Vizag, entirely focusses on Varun Tej’s character.
Meenakshi Chaudhary appears as Varun Tej’s wife in the trailer. Nora Fatehi is the other heroine.
In the trailer, Varun Tej boldly says that he has not only control over his mind and heart but also over his sexual urges.
