Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has never teamed up with superstar Rajinikanth in any film before, though another Malayalam legendary superstar Mamootty shared screen space with the Rajinikanth in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Dalapathi’. Rajinikanth and Mohanlal have collaborated for the first time in their careers.
Mohanlal appears in a guest role in Rajinikanth’s current film, ‘Jailer,’ directed by Nelson. The filming is currently underway. Mohanlal joined the shoot today,
according to the production house.
Sun Pictures is producing the film, which has music by Anirudh Ravichander. Ramya Krishna plays in ‘Jailer’ as well.
Mohanlal has worked with other top South Indian actors such as Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Balakrishna, Kamal Haasan, Jr NTR, and Thalapathy Vijay.
