Mrunal Thakur joins the shooting of AA22xA6

Mrunal Thakur has landed one of the biggest projects of her career as she plays one of the female leads in Allu Arjun’s global-scale sci-fi film. The actress joined the shoot last weekend.

Currently referred to as AA22xA6, the film is being shot at a specially constructed sound stage in Mumbai, where an intense action sequence featuring Mrunal Thakur is underway. A major portion of the film has been progressing at this location.

The film reportedly features multiple leading ladies, with Deepika Padukone playing one of the main heroines. Mrunal Thakur’s addition adds more star power to the ensemble cast.

Allu Arjun will be seen in dual roles in this high-concept sci-fi drama that explores themes of creatures and a parallel universe. Director Atlee is mounting the film on a massive scale, collaborating with top Hollywood VFX studios and technicians.

Produced by Sun Pictures, the team will head abroad for the next schedule once the Mumbai shoot is completed.
