Nagarjuna opens up about his 100th film

Akkineni Nagarjuna is all set to join the elite club of stars who have acted in over 100 films. South Indian cinema already boasts legends like Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, and Balakrishna, each with over a hundred films to their credit. Icons like Kamal Haasan have even crossed the 200-film milestone

Now, it’s Nagarjuna’s turn to mark this significant milestone with his upcoming 100th film.

“The pre-production work for my 100th film is underway. The working title is King 100. We will announce the details at the right time,” Nagarjuna revealed. It is speculated that the film will be officially launched on Nagarjuna’s birthday, August 29.

Nagarjuna made his debut with “Vikram” in 1986. As the son of the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao, he entered the film industry with high expectations. Though he initially faced criticism, Nagarjuna soon made his mark and established himself among the top stars of Telugu cinema.

Speaking about the 4K restoration of his cult classic “Shiva,” Nagarjuna said, “The restoration work is going well, and the quality is turning out to be exceptional.
