Akkineni Nagarjuna has lately been involving in script discussions with his directors. He has completely involved in the pre-production of his next film to be directed by Kalyan Krishna.
Titled ‘Bangarraju’, the film is going to be a sequel to the 2016 blockbuster ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’.
For this movie, Nag is going to share screen space with his son Naga Chaitanya. Nag had earlier teamed up with Chaitanya in ‘Manam’. Naga Chaitanya has turned down the proposal from his father to be part of ‘Bangarraju’. Then, Nag has approached several other young actors for this role but nothing has been materialized. So, Chaitanya has no option but to agree to his father’s request.
Akhil Akkineni will share screen space with his father in Nagarjuna’s 100th film. So, Chaitanya is stepping in for ‘Bangarrarju’.
The project will be launched later this year.
