Nandamuri Balakrishna honored by World Book of Records!

The World Book of Records (WBR), headquartered in London, has conferred its prestigious Gold Edition honor on Nandamuri Balakrishna, celebrating his extraordinary journey of 50 years as a hero in Indian cinema.

Santosh Shukla, CEO of the World Book of Records, lauded Balakrishna’s contributions, calling his five-decade career an inspiration and a golden benchmark in Indian cinema. His artistic brilliance is matched by his humanitarian service as Chairman of the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, where for over 15 years he has championed compassionate healthcare and upliftment of society.

Among his numerous accolades, Balakrishna has been awarded the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest civilian honors, for his service to cinema and society. Beyond films, his three consecutive electoral victories from Hindupur Assembly constituency stand as a testament to the trust and affection he enjoys from the people.

Balakrishna will be formally felicitated with this distinction on August 30th in Hyderabad.
