Nani starrer ‘Tuck Jagadish’ premieres on Amazon Prime in a couple of hours. He is confident that the film would appeal to all audiences watching it in their homes. “It is a family drama with an emotional touch. I played a role that will be talked about,” he said.
Nani loves to play characters that will appeal to family audiences and middle-class viewers. They are in his space. “I always pick stories that I can pull off, that I look convincing. I have rejected some films knowing well that they would become blockbusters. Because I don’t fit into those characters,” he reasoned.
Nani is one of the most successful actors in this generation. He works hard. He brushes off the recent controversy about his film skipping the theatrical window. “It was a storm in the teacup. Now, everyone understood our decision. If not for the pandemic situation, we would have released the film in the theaters,” he clarified.
‘Tuck Jagadish’ is directed by Shiva Nirvana. It is his second film with the director. Saahu Garapati and Harish Peddi have produced the film.
Nani will next be seen in ‘Shyam Singha Roy’, a period drama. The film’s shoot was wrapped up.
