It is no secret that Nani was dead against the release of ‘Tuck Jagadish’ on the OTT platform directly. The makers received the OTT offers long back, but they had turned down them as Nani promised his fans to release the movie in theaters only.
However, the second wave of COVID-19 and other factors made the producers retract their decision. They have decided to go ahead with the direct-OTT release. Against this backdrop, Nani penned an emotional note to his fans explaining the circumstances and mentioned that he was torn with conflict.
He, however, said that he would give his full support to the producers for whatever decision they make and he also assured the audiences that he will do 100% that the film reaches them.
‘Tuck Jagadish’ is directed by Shiva Nirvana. The film is a production of Shine Screens. Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Jagapathi Babu are part of the main cast.

“I am the biggest fan of theatres and Tuck Jagadish is a quintessential Telugu film which we would’ve loved watching in a theatre with a full house and it was always meant to be experienced on the big screen for a festival.
I am quite torn between the pressures the producers are facing in these uncertain times with big stakes at risk and the fanboy of theatres in me, who wants to watch the film with all of you first day – first show.
With the unpredictable conditions here and abroad and the unfortunate restrictions on theatres in Andhra, it has become a conflict in many ways. I. have the utmost respect for the producers and I believe any call regarding the film they make, should be theirs.
So here I am, at crossroads for the second time! Leaving the decision about Tuck Jagadish to SHINE SCREENS and all stakeholders and will humbly accept their final decision.
No matter what, I will do my 100% till it reaches all of you in whatever way.
