Marlon Brando’s iconic pose as a mafia don in ‘The Godfather’ has become an essential style to copy for all such roles. The latest actor to recreate that pose is Nani. He plays Shyam, a don-like figure in his upcoming release, Shyam Singha Roy. Sitting in the chair with holding a cigarette in his hands, he gets the look right.
The film is being directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Venkat Boyanapalli. The first song – Rise Of Shyam – will be out on 6th November. The song is composed by Mickey J Meyer.
Set in Kolkota, the film sees Nani playing a dual role. Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty, and Madonna Sebastian are the heroines.
‘Shyam Singha Roy’ will be arriving in theatres in all south languages- Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on December 24th.
