Netflix’s new Creative Content Officer, Bela Bajari, is currently in India and has been engaging with several top names from the South Indian film industry. Her recent interactions with Allu Arjun, director Atlee, actor Nani, and Allu Arjun’s father and producer Allu Aravind in Hyderabad have sparked major speculation.
Following these high-profile meetings, industry insiders and social media are abuzz with predictions that Netflix is in advanced negotiations to acquire the rights to Allu Arjun and Atlee’s highly anticipated sci-fi drama, tentatively titled “AA22xA6”.
Netflix has been aggressively expanding its footprint in Tollywood, securing rights for many of the industry’s biggest films. The platform already maintains a strong relationship with leading production houses such as Sithara Entertainments and Mythri Movie Makers, and frequently collaborates with top filmmakers, including SS Rajamouli.
With this potential deal, Netflix could further strengthen its position as a key player in the South Indian digital entertainment space, bringing large-scale, high-budget regional content to a global audience.
