Night curfew in Maharashtra: Trouble for RRR, Radhe Shyam

Radhe Shyam and RRR

The coronavirus cases are rising in parts of India again. Maharashtra, one of the biggest movie markets in India, has witnessed a spike in COVID-19 cases and the spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant in the last couple of days. So, the government imposed a night curfew in the state.

Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ and Prabhas’s ‘Radhe Shyam’ will be affected severely by this decision. Both these movies are pan-Indian projects. ‘RRR’ is scheduled to hit the theaters on Jan 7, 2022, while ‘Radhe Shyam’ on Jan 14, 2022.

These biggies will suffer collections if Maharashtra further imposes restrictions.

The makers of ‘RRR’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’ cannot change their release plans now. Rajamouli has been promoting his action drama aggressively in the Hindi market as well. Prabhas’s ‘Radhe Shyam’ has successfully generated hype in North India.
