Swayambhu: Nikhil Siddharth stays silent on release date

Nikhil Siddharth spoke about his upcoming film “Swayambhu” at a recent promotional event but chose not to reveal its release date, keeping fans guessing.

The period drama was initially slated for an April 10 release but was postponed indefinitely. While reports suggest a possible May 22 release, the makers have not officially confirmed any date.

Industry buzz points to multiple reasons behind the delay. Some reports indicate that ongoing OTT deal negotiations could be a factor, while others suggest that Nikhil is aiming for a release window that works well for both Telugu and Hindi markets.

Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, “Swayambhu” features Nikhil in the role of a warrior. Samyuktha Menon plays the female lead, with Nabha Natesh in a key role.

The film’s story is said to revolve around the Sengol, highlighting themes of legacy and pride.
