No ‘Baahubali 3’ announcement, confirms Rajamouli
Fans have been eagerly anticipating the announcement of “Baahubali 3” at the end of “Baahubali: The Epic,” which premieres tomorrow.
The Baahubali franchise remains one of the most successful in Indian cinema. Both films – Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion – shattered box office records, elevated Telugu cinema to unprecedented heights, and turned Prabhas into a pan-India superstar. Now, both parts have been merged into one extended cut titled “Baahubali: The Epic,” featuring additional unseen footage.
Speculation had been rife that director S.S. Rajamouli might use the occasion, marking a decade since the first Baahubali, to announce a third part during the end credits of “The Epic.”
However, Rajamouli has now put the rumors to rest, clarifying that he has no such plans at the moment.
Instead, he revealed that an animated feature titled “Baahubali: The Eternal War” is in development. The trailer for this animation project will be attached to Baahubali: The Epic.
