No heroine for Megastar Chiranjeevi
The remake of ‘Lucifer’ has changed hands again. Tamil director Mohan Raja aka Jayam Raja has come on board to direct the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Lucifer’ in Telugu featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi.
After Chiranjeevi had turned down the script changes done by directors Sujeeth and Vinayak, the project has been given to Mohan Raja, who is known as the remake specialist in Tamil films. He successfully remade Telugu films like ‘Jayam’, ‘Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi’ and ‘Bommarillu’.
Mohan Raja is now penning the script for the Telugu version of ‘Lucifer’ , and he has decided to be faithful in spirit to the original movie. So, there will not be a heroine for Chiranjeevi. No romantic track will be included either.
Lucifer’s remake is expected to start rolling from summer 2021.
