It was confirmed some time ago that Trivikram would helm a mythological film titled “God of War,” based on Lord Karthikeya aka Lord Murugan, with NTR playing the lead. The producer had officially announced the project, and soon after, NTR was even spotted carrying a book on Lord Murugan as part of his preparation, while simultaneously shooting for Prashanth Neel’s “Dragon.”

However, recent rumors claimed that Trivikram and NTR had fallen out once again, with reports suggesting that Allu Arjun might step into the project.

Earlier, Trivikram had initially planned a film with Allu Arjun, but following the massive success of “Pushpa 2,” the actor chose Atlee’s next instead. Disappointed, Trivikram reportedly pitched “God of War” to NTR, who immediately gave his nod.

Fresh speculation later hinted that Trivikram was reconsidering and planning to revive the project with Allu Arjun instead of NTR. That said, neither Trivikram nor NTR’s team has issued any official statement regarding these rumors.

According to industry insiders, the situation has now cooled down, and there has been no progress on the project. At present, Trivikram is busy directing “Adarsha Kutumbam – AK 47” with Venkatesh, while NTR remains focused on “Dragon.” With both committed to their current films, there appears to be no urgency to move forward with “God of War” anytime soon.
