Putting an end to speculation over NTR’s alleged political entry, the actor’s fans’ association has issued a statement clarifying that the July 18 “Ooru-Vaada” programme has no connection with politics.

The association said the event had been planned well in advance and urged media outlets and social media pages not to link it to political developments or spread unverified reports.

“We planned the July 18 Ooru-Vaada programme long ago. Please do not associate it with politics. We request media organizations and social media pages not to believe or circulate false campaigns, as they are creating unnecessary confusion among fans,” the statement said.

The clarification comes amid growing speculation that Jr NTR could soon make his political debut. However, the actor remains fully occupied with his film commitments.

NTR is currently shooting for Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. He will next team up with Trivikram Srinivas for a mythological film based on Lord Kartikeya aka Murugan. Besides these two projects, the actor has already lined up three more big-budget films, making it clear that his immediate focus remains on cinema rather than politics.
