Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, one of the most celebrated names in Indian cinema, is sharing screen space with a South Indian star in a lead role for the very first time. War 2, slated for release on August 14, will see Hrithik and NTR go head-to-head in an action-packed showdown.
Hrithik came to Hyderabad to attend the film’s pre-release event, where he spoke warmly about his co-star.
“To you (fans), he is your big brother. To me, he is my younger brother,” Hrithik said, adding, “I love Telugu audiences. Many of my films became blockbusters here, and I believe War 2 will entertain you just as much. NTR and I worked extremely hard to meet your expectations. We even got injured during the shoot. Both of us complete 25 years in our careers this year.”

Hrithik also praised NTR as a “single-take star.”
“I learned from him how to give 100 percent to every single shot. Beyond being a great actor, he’s also a great chef. I still have to taste his homemade biryani in Hyderabad,” Hrithik said, sharing the strong bond they developed during filming.
