“Dragon”, the upcoming action spectacle starring NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel, is being mounted on a massive scale.
Producer Naveen Yerneni recently revealed the staggering production costs involved in filming. He stated that nearly Rs 1.5 crore was spent per day during the Jordan schedule to achieve grand visuals.
“We recently filmed Dragon in Jordan. We spent close to Rs 1.5 crore daily on production. The visuals we captured are extraordinary,” he said.
Highlighting the scale of big-budget films, Naveen Yerneni also addressed the ongoing debate around ticket price hikes. He mentioned that large-scale productions like Peddi and other pan-Indian projects require higher ticket pricing due to their massive budgets, while modest ilms may not need such increases.
“Dragon” (working title) features Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, with Anil Kapoor playing a key role. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the project is expected to be one of the most ambitious ventures in NTR’s career.
