NTR as stage artiste in 'Jai Lava Kusa'?
That NTR is playing three contrasting roles in ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ is known. If Lava is true to the backbone, in turn getting into troubles because of his goodness, Kusa is cunning and a con, who dreams of flying to a foreign country to make the quick buck.
The third role, the film’s most important one, is that of Jai. The teaser and trailer showed him up as an ambitious negative character who can go to any extent to get what he wants.
There is an interesting angle to his character. Inside sources have it that Jai is a (passionate) theatre artiste who is fond of enacting Ravana, Ramayana’s misguided antagonist, on the stage. This stage artiste also evil plans a bank robbery and this changes the equations in the film.
We hear NTR has pulled off the challenging role with so much ease and confidence proudly elevating his mustache.
