On the first of November, the Karnataka state government will be presenting the ‘Karnataka Ratna’ award posthumously to the late Puneeth Rajkumar. Kannada Rajyotsava, also known as Karnataka Formation Day or Karnataka Day, is celebrated on 1 November every year.

The state government invited NTR Jr and Rajinikanth to grace the ceremony as the guests to present the award to the family of Puneeth Rajkumar, the popular actor who died of a heart attack recently.
NTR confirmed his attendance. He will be attending the ceremony. NTR had close bonding with Puneeth Rajkumar.
NTR flew down to Hyderabad from his Japan tour the other day.
