Union Minister for Home Amit Shah will be meeting actor NTR later this evening in Hyderabad. Reports say Amit Shah personally invited NTR for a dinner meeting. They will meet at the Novotel hotel in Samshabad.
The official version is that Amit Shah wanted to appreciate NTR personally for his exceptional performance in the role of Komaram Bheem in Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. However, political pundits say Shah does everything for politics. Since NTR played Komaram Bheem, a freedom warrior of the Telangana region, he feels meeting NTR would fetch political gain.
BJP is planning to dethrone the KCR government in the upcoming general elections in Telangana. Amit Shah has been indulging in social engineering (caste equations) in the Telangana region. NTR, though born and brought up in Telangana, is seen as an Andhra guy by the Telangana folks.
So, the news has created a storm in political circles.
