NTR’s birthday special: ‘War 2’ teaser is out

The much-awaited teaser for “War 2,” featuring Hrithik Roshan and NTR in the lead roles, is finally out. Released as a birthday special for NTR, the teaser kicks off with his powerful voiceover.

“War 2” marks NTR’s official foray into Bollywood. While his previous films like “RRR” and “Devara” had grand Hindi releases, this film is his true Bollywood debut. Sharing screen space with superstar Hrithik Roshan is a significant milestone in NTR’s career.

The first instalment “War,” starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, was an action-packed blockbuster. In the sequel, NTR steps into the franchise by replacing Tiger and takes on the role of Hrithik’s main adversary. The film sets up an intense face-off between Kabir (Hrithik Roshan), a RAW agent, and Veera Raghav (NTR), a former RAW operative.

The teaser begins with NTR declaring that he’s been waiting for Kabir, followed by a series of high-octane action sequences mounted on a massive scale. It concludes with a dramatic moment—both Hrithik and NTR landing punches at each other.

The teaser also offers a glimpse of Kiara Advani in a glamorous bikini avatar. NTR appears in a lean and mean look, adding to the intensity of his character.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, “War 2” is slated for release during the Independence Day week. The film is produced by Aditya chopra.
