It is now official that Prabhas’s ‘Radhe Shyam’ got a new release date. The romantic drama was to hit the screens today, but it has been postponed to the next year due to the pandemic situation.
The makers today announced that the film will hit the screens for Sankranthi 2022. ‘Radhe Shyam’ will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages simultaneously during the festival season. The film will release on Jan 14, 2022.
Other biggies like Pawan Kalyan – Rana starrer and Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ have made their festival release plans clear. These two movies have announced their dates in advance. Now, ‘Radhe Shyam’ joins the race leading to utter confusion and possible rescheduling.
‘Radhe Shyam’ has been in the making for four years. Tipped to be a romantic drama set in the bygone era of Europe, the story is about Vikramaditya and Prerana, two star-crossed lovers. Prabhas and Pooja Hegde are playing those roles.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film is bankrolled by UV Creations and Gopi Krishna Movies.
