‘OG’ sets a date for US advance ticket sales

Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited gangster drama “OG” aka “They Call Him OG” is driving massive hype overseas as U.S. advance bookings open on August 29, 2025.

Today, the production announced that the USA bookings will begin on August 29, a nearly a month before the release. The film will premiere in the USA on September 24.

Directed by Sujeeth, the film features Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi making his Telugu debut as the antagonist. The story revolves around a feared don who returns to Mumbai to settle old scores, setting the stage for a gritty action spectacle.

Despite production delays caused by Pawan Kalyan’s political responsibilities as Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister, the film’s pre-release business and relentless social media buzz indicate it is on track for a record-breaking opening.

“OG” is slated for a worldwide release on September 25, 2025.
