OG: Sriya Reddy thanks Sujeeth as her role wins praise

Actress Sriya Reddy is basking in the success of “OG,” the Pawan Kalyan starrer that has opened to massive collections. She plays Geetha, the daughter-in-law of Prakash Raj’s character, in a powerful role that features in a nearly twenty-minute episode at the beginning of the film.
Elated by the response to her performance and the film’s box-office storm, Sriya took to Instagram to share her gratitude for director Sujeeth and the team.
Reflecting on her role, she wrote: “Sujeeth’s writing of Geetha reminded me that strength on screen is built through courage off it. It takes a director with rare confidence to allow a woman to stand uncompromised, fierce and whole inside the scale of a film like #OG, and then to allow her to hold her ground within a world as immense as this. Thank you for giving me Geetha. Channeling her has been an experience that will stay with me always.”
She further praised Sujeeth’s vision and perseverance, calling him “the sweetest, most genuine person” and crediting his hard work, faith, and sacrifices for the film’s success.
