Bandla Ganesh, a popular producer and actor, entered politics in 2018 but quickly left after his party suffered a humiliating defeat. Bandla Ganesh joined the Congress party shortly before the Telangana assembly elections in 2018 and made sensational comments against the ruling TRS party and Chief Minister KCR. He even threatened to slit his throat with a 7’O clock blade if TRS won again.
However, TRS stormed back to power with a larger majority than before. He then reversed his position and announced his retirement from politics. He has been praising KCR ever since.
Making a volte-face, he intends to run again in the Telangana assembly elections this November. In a tweet, he stated that he would approach politics with courage and honesty. He also stated that he will soon enter the political arena.
