Pawan Kalyan has given his approval to restart filming for “OG” and “Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1” this month. The producers rented buildings near Mangalagari and converted them into studio floors so that Pawan Kalyan could easily participate in the filming.
According to the initial plan, filming for “OG” and “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” would resume in the second week of September. However, their plans have suddenly turned upside down.
The recent floods ravaged the Vijayawada city region, including Mangalagiri. The city and its residents have yet to recover from flood-related destruction. The entire Andhra Pradesh government, along with its machinery, is currently concentrating on flood relief efforts and the restoration of normalcy.
Pawan Kalyan, Andhra Pradesh’s deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Panchayat Raj, is actively monitoring the relief efforts. He will not consider participating in film shoots this month.
Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has already stated that both Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan failed badly in managing flood rescue efforts. The YSRC party even questioned where Pawan Kalyan was hiding while the people were suffering from floods. Only after the YSRC party upped its criticism did Pawan Kalyan appear in front of the media. So, given the circumstances, he cannot begin shooting “OG” and “Hari Hara Veera Mallu.”
According to our sources, the producers of both films, DVV Danayya and AM Rathnam, have cancelled their filming plans for this month.
