Actor Payal Rajput turned emotional and brke down during a press interaction at the trailer launch of her upcoming film “First Time 01-01-01” on Tuesday.
Known for films like “RX 100” and “Venky Mama,” the actress was visibly overwhelmed while speaking about her personal struggles, particularly the loss of her father.
Responding to a question about her anxiety and mental health journey, Payal shared that she had attended a Vipassana meditation course in Jaipur around seven to eight months ago, during a difficult phase when her father had been diagnosed with cancer.
Recalling the painful time, she said she felt completely shattered and struggled to cope emotionally. She spoke about not knowing how to console her mother or herself, adding that her father was the “hero” of her life.
As she continued speaking, Payal became too emotional to carry on and eventually broke down in tears. Unable to continue the interaction, she stepped away from the stage.
Her father passed away a year ago, and the incident highlighted the emotional toll the loss has had on her.
