Peddi creates premiere tickets frenzy in North America

Peddi, starring Ram Charan, has opened to a sensational response in North America, crossing the $200K mark in pre-sales within just days of advance bookings going live. The film has already sold more than 7,500 premiere tickets, emerging as one of the fastest Indian films to achieve such numbers in the region.

What has caught the trade by surprise is the speed at which the film reached the milestone. With the momentum continuing strongly, trade circles are now predicting a massive opening weekend overseas.

Ram Charan’s previous film flopped miserably in North America. Despite this track record, “Peddi” is putting up big numbers in pre-sales.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, “Peddi” is a rural sports action drama that presents Ram Charan in a rugged avatar. The film, which stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and has AR Rahman as the music director, is set for North America premieres on June 3, followed by its grand theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
