The much-anticipated first video glimpse of Ram Charan’s “Peddi” is here. The makers unveiled the video on the auspicious occasion of the Sri Rama Navami festival today. Ram Charan looked stunning in his avatar.
As we have all known, Ram Charan underwent a complete transformation to play this role, and the video glimpse shows how much hard work he has put in to portray this gritty rural character.
For director Buchi Babu Sana, “Peddi” is just his second film; the video is markedly different from his debut movie, “Uppena,” demonstrating that he has a grand vision for this film. Confirming that it will be mounted on a large scale with a local theme for global audiences, “Peddi” has rich cinematography by Rathnavelu, and AR Rahman’s background score for this short video is so riveting.
The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine, her first pairing with Ram Charan.
“Peddi,” produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, is scheduled for release next year, and the ‘first shot’ glimpse raises further expectations.
