The Andhra Pradesh police have denied permission for the ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ pre-release event, citing traffic issues as the reason. All arrangements were made at a college grounds in Ongole, Hyderabad. The date of the event is set for January 6.
The Ongole city police, however, refused to grant permission.
In Andhra Pradesh, there have been reports of stampedes at political rallies and meetings. Given this backdrop, the police have requested that the event be moved outside of Ongole.
Nandamuri Balakrishna plays two characters in ‘Veera Simha Reddy. Gopichand Malineni, who is from this city in Andhra Pradesh, directed the film. So, the organisers decided to hold the event in this coastal region.
‘Veera Simha Reddy,’ produced by Mythri Movie Makers, has generated a lot of buzz. The production company is currently looking for a new venue for the event.
