Actress Pooja Hegde on Friday planted saplings as part of the Green India Challenge, an initiative of TRS MP J Santosh Kumar. She planted three saplings in Hyderabad. She later posted pictures on social media.

The Green India Challenge has become popular as several celebrities participated in it. Santosh Kumar thanked Pooja. “Hoping that your huge fan base across India would replicate what you have done today, in the interest of the better future,” he wrote a thanks note to her.
To increase green cover, the challenge was initiated.
Pooja Hegde is currently in Hyderabad for her Telugu assignments. She will start promoting her next release, ‘Radhe Shyam’.
